Q is for all of the Italian Q words. And Q is for all of the questions that come with both learning - and losing - a language.
Qualora riuscissi a parlare bene bene l’italiano…
If I am ever able to actually speak Italian, like really, I’ll let you know.
Of course I speak Italian. I speak fluently and according to my Italian teacher I was ready to start training for the much revered C2 level of the PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri) language certification program. It’s the highest language level for non-native speakers and a badge of honor for Italian language learners. But that was in 2020 and after the Italy Lockdowns I gave up on my lessons. There were so many false starts that year, and mouthing Italian through a face mask was not fun, plus I was completely Zoomed out and lost my stamina for online classes.
