Love in Rome: The City's Romance in Everyday Moments
Whether it’s Valentine’s Day or not, enjoy the beauty, flavor, and rhythm of Rome
If you happened to find yourself in Rome on Valentine’s Day you might:
Swoon at the view of the Fori Imperiali from Capitoline Hill.
Hand-pick a selection of delicate chocolates for yourself at the Confetteria Moriondo e Gariglio.
Visit the relics of Saint Valentine at the Basilica di Santa Maria in Cosmedin.
Eat your {artichoke} heart out at a trattoria — carciofi are still in season. Try choosing which you love more: fried alla giudia in the Jewish Quarter or braised in olive oil alla romana anywhere else in the city. Explore and find your own “best” artichoke!
