la Lupa Capitolina at the Campidoglio, Rome, 2021. This statue is a copy of the original that is kept right next door in the Sala della Lupa dei Musei Capitolini. I prefer the wear and tear on this one as it looks more like actual Rome - beautiful but a bit rough around the edges.

Today it’s Rome’s birthday, she turns 2,777 years old. Auguri Roma!
