first time ever exhibited Caravaggio at the Palazzo Barberini, November 2024, Rome

So much art, so little time. So many impressive exhibits in Rome right now.

I was impatiently waiting for both the Palazzo Barberini and the Scuderie del Quirinale November exhibits to open. Both have never before exhibited pieces: a Caravaggio at the Barberini and an enormous Domenichino at the Scuderie. So worth it. And, for a limited time, a rare opportunity to visit the Boncompagni Ludovisi Casino dell’Aurora to see the Guercino Aurora frescoes.
